"We Were So Close" is a musical number written and composed by Canadian score composer, Christophe Beck, for the 2013 Disney animated film, Frozen.

The track plays when Anna enters Elsa's ice palace and is greeted by her sister. Elsa asked Anna to return to Arendelle where she belonged, to which Anna replied Arendelle is Elsa's home as well. Elsa described that her self-imposed exile was necessary to keep everyone safe. After a moment, Olaf ran into the palace and greeted his creator; Elsa was surprised to see him, but his appearance caused the sisters to reminisce on the fun they had together as children. The track ends as Elsa's happy memories were overtaken by the memory of hurting her sister and once again, to which she then began walking away from Anna.

The track makes a second appearance in the end credits, playing after "Elsa and Anna".
